Charlevoix’s reputation as a “nursery” of artists of all kinds is now well established. A simple recollection of the famous Group of Seven is a reminder that painters have long been coming to the Charlevoix region to find inspiration in its great beauty and exceptional light conditions!
Over the past 17 years, Rêves d’automne, Festival of Landscapes in Painting has perpetuated this charlevoisienne tradition by showcasing the talent of the best artists from this and other regions. The presence of painters at work in the streets, art workshops, unique art pieces being created, a national painting contest, and much more, cause Charlevoix to pulsate to a rhythm which is sustained by art and colors.

Get your Rêves d’automne badge and take part to all the events!
Available at a nominal cost of $ 5, the badge provides access to all events for the duration of the festival. Badges are available at Rêves d’automne Place and at the entrance of all activity sites. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under
The badge also provides free access to Le Musée d’art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul during all the Rêves d’automne festival.
Rêves d’automne Place is located in the heart of Baie-Saint-Paul, in the Carrefour culturel Paul Médéric (see map below). Various events and exhibitions are held at that location where you will also find all the information necessary for a full enjoyment of your stay.
