CONTEST - WIN A TRIP TO JAMES BAY

Contest rules

  1. During the 2008 edition of Rêves d’automne, Festival of Landscapes in Painting, a contest will be held during the festival from September 19 through September 28, 2008.

  2. This contest is open to all Rêves d’automne, Festival of Landscapes in Painting visitors who will purchase the badge at a cost of $ 5.  To participate, visitors must fill out a participation coupon available at the various activity sites.

  3. Persons wishing to take part in the contest without participating in the festival and without buying the badge can do so.  They must send the COFEC a 50-word maximum letter explaining their motives for participating in this contest and mail it in before September 26, [2008]. Postal entries will be eligible for the final draw.  Limit of one entry per person.

  4. Participants must personally deposit their participation coupon in the contest boxes on the activity sites.  Contest rules are available on internet: www.revesdautomne.com or at the offices of the Corporation des fêtes et événements de Charlevoix (COFEC), 6 rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, room 102, Baie-Saint-Paul (Québec) G3Z 1L7.  Telephone: 418 435-5875.

  5. A random draw of all completed coupons will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Terroir Place, 102 rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Baie-Saint-Paul.

  6. The winner’s name will be announced immediately following the draw.

  7. Any winner under the age of 18 will necessarily have to be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 and over) to benefit from the prize (to take the trip).

  8. If the winner is not present to claim his or her prize, he or she will be contacted by telephone on Monday, September 29, [2008] by the COFEC.

  9. The winner will receive an envelope containing the prize as well as a “Passenger registration form” entitled Inscription des passagers that must be filled in and returned to Hydro-Québec, at the address indicated on the form, before December 15, 2008.

  10. The prize must be accepted according to the present rules and cannot be transferred to another person nor substituted by another prize.

  11. By participating in this contest, the winner authorizes the contest organizers to use, if so required, his or her name, photo, voice and/or image, for advertising purposes without further compensation.

  12. This contest is open to all Canadian residents who satisfy the present contest rules except for the employees, representatives, agents or members of the jury, members of the Board and their immediate family (spouses and children) of Hydro-Québec and COFEC.

  13. Any counterfeited, mutilated, modified, misprinted, illegible coupon, or that has been obtained fraudulently or by illegal or other irregular means is null and cannot entitle to any prize.

  14. The winner must answer a general skill testing question in order to obtain his or her prize.  Any litigation regarding the conduct or organization of an advertising contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling.  Any litigation regarding the prize award may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux in order to help the parties reach a settlement.

 

PRIZES TO BE WON:
TWO (2) DOUBLE PASSES FOR A WEEKEND IN JAMES BAY 

The trip will take place May 23 and May 24, 2009. One (1) double pass includes:

Air travel between the Dorval-Montréal International Airport and La Grande Rivière Airport (travel from the winner’s residence to Dorval Airport will be at the winner’s expense);

Transportation aboard Hydro-Québec buses between La Grande Rivière Airport, Radisson village and all sites to be visited;

Guided tours of the Robert-Bourassa Generating Facility and La Grande-1 Generating Station;

Lodging in double occupancy at the Auberge Radisson, including meals.

The trip cannot be postponed to a later date.

The package is valued at $ 3.630 and the total value for the stay including both packages is valued at $ 7.260
.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • By purchasing an official Rêves d'automne's badge and by filling in a participation coupon available on the Rêves d'automne's sites;

  • By depositing the participation coupon in contest boxes on the Rêves d'automne's activity sites.
