Closing Weekend

Over recent years, the ski resort Le Massif has exceptionally opened its trails to some ten professional painters during Rêves d’automne, Festival of Landscapes in Painting.

Why not kill two birds with one stone and enjoy this wonderful opportunity to hike the trails of Le Massif de Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and to marvel at the talent of artists who translate on canvas the spectacular beauty of a vast panorama.

The Artists’ Gastronomic Buffet showcases the regional gourmet food products of Charlevoix with the talented assistance of culinary and painting artists of the region.

A lecture on the markets of the World will be given by Philippe Mollé, guest of honour, expert in gastronomy, and host of the television show Les marchés de Philippe on Canal Évasion. Culinary works will be on display. The exhibited paintings will be sold at an auction.

In cooperation with the restaurants Au 51 and L’Orange Bistro.

Each year, Rêves d’automne, Festival of Landscapes in Painting welcomes painters from Québec and elsewhere. The Figurative Painters Rendez-vous gives these artists the opportunity to display the full range of their talents for the enjoyment of visitors who come to watch them work.

This activity takes place in the heart of Baie-Saint-Paul. It animates the place and gives it a special dimension at that time of the year.

Saint-Jean-Baptiste Street becomes a Gourmet Stop, an absolute must for all those who wish to savour the regional culinary products of Charlevoix. Chefs and restaurant owners will be present.

Throughout the day, artisans and exhibitors will work side by side and share with visitors their know-how and their creations.
