While a number of exhibitors propose tasty treats food lovers are sure to enjoy, Saint-Jean-Baptiste’s many restaurants also join the street celebrations. The town’s many boutiques showcase gifts, souvenirs, clothing, apparel and assorted equipment – not to forget its art galleries. Everything on your holiday shopping list!

Located in the heart of downtown Baie-Saint-Paul, rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste is close to countless lodging and dining establishments as well as malls and art galleries, all in a charming countryside setting between mountains and river.

Drawing artisans, local producers and artists who display their wares, products and crafts for the event, rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste turns into a lively pedestrian street with non-stop street entertainment on three site stages and a continuous performance program. Thirty or so kiosks with over forty exhibitors propose sublime treasures to visitors, while local artists display their talent to merry Christmas carols. See Santa, sample terroir products and be amazed by the many surprises awaiting the young, and the young at heart.

Le Marché de Noël de Baie-Saint-Paul officially begins Friday, November 28 at 6pm with the illumination of the Christmas Tree on Place de l’Église. On Fridays, the market is open from 6pm to 9pm, Saturdays 12pm to 8pm and on Sundays, noon to 4pm. Site admission is free throughout the event.
