Kathleen Daly exhibition
The works of the couple formed by Kathleen Daly and George D. Pepper are all at once audacious and very sensitive. After exploring the world, they put down their easels in Charlevoix for a number of years. A landscaper and war artist during the Second World War, George D. Pepper was a founding member of the Canadian Group of Painters. His companion, Kathleen Daly has shown a surprising originality in style as well as a quasi-anthropological vision in her depictions of rural scenes and her touching portraits of local and other country folks.
The exhibition will be presented until January 4, 2009.

Exhibition "The Farm: 3 Periods - 1 History"s
A genuine icon in the heart of Baie-Saint-Paul, the Farm has long been Canada’s most important wooden farm building. Its history spans several generations. It covers three distinctive periods which share one common trait: the love of its owners for the land. For each owner, it was not a matter of taming the land but rather one of letting oneself being tamed by it.
The history of the Farm is etched in the collective memory. It starts with the Petites Franciscaines de Marie, it continues with the Filion Family and it adds new chapters with the transformation planned by the present owner, Daniel Gauthier. Territoire Le Massif is committed to the preservation of this heritage by transforming it into a genuine cultural meeting place in the heart of the city.
